I wish it would work

Today, as usual, I went to Lot1 Shopping Mall for some food and to relieve the tension that built up during the morning class(or any event after school). My first choice there would be CCK library. It is always exciting for me, to just look at the huge collections of books; I guess it is somewhat similar condition like when a five years old kid enters Toys R' Us for the first time. There are a lot to explore and so many times you will go "Aah" or "Ooh". Another good point is the cool and quiet condition; it is so relaxing. From there I would go for my dinner with book in one hand, or if I am not hungry or not in the mood to eat, walk around until I realise it is already late to get back to hostel. One nice place to spend the time is Comic Connection on lv4. The shop is not very big, but fully packed with interesting stuff. And I found one object that really caught my attention. It was a simple notebook, black in colour, and with two words written on the cover, DEATH NOTE. I know it cannot be a real one, but it looks quite assuring, especially with the instructions and the actual scribles of the actor as shown in the first movie. Holding the book on my hand, I couldnt help but expressing my wish soundlessly. I wished the book could somehow be real. If it could, I would immidiately write down the name of two people that had been like a drill inside my brain giving me head splitting headache, like adrenalin in my blood - thumping my heart, fueling my rage, and like a huge stone in my stomach, giving me that sinking feeling. I know perfectly that if it was for real, it would regret it just seconds after they say sayonara to the world. But, I have never been good in controlling my temper, and at that time I just want them to suffer. It was a painful decision. One of them is a person I look up to, who I defended in some trivial debates, who finally betrayed all my faith and hardwork(not really actually, but quite close). The other one, I always thought the person was good. It is still the same now. I know it was not the person's fault. The person had no right to decide, but if the person did not even bother to come on the first place, the result would be different. It might not be better, but at least I could try.
It is too late now. What's done cannot be undone. I decided not to buy the book as it turned out to be so foolish on the second thought. But actually I did give a try. I wrote their names with my fingernail on the book. My writing was barely visible, but I know it was there. So, if you die, I want you to know that I feel sorry about it. I regret it.

But you had messed up with the wrong person.

I almost DIE!

Have you ever missed a bus stop before?
I believe you have had that experience before
Annoying isn't it?
Read this post and maybe you will get a different idea

Missing bus stops happened quite a number of times to me as well
Especially after a long, demanding, and back-breaking hours in hell on earth, hmm I mean school; made worse with burdensome CCA
So when your butt finally settles on the seat inside the air-con bus
All you need is just a soft voice in your head
Telling you to close your eyes and have a short, 15 minutes nap
And when you actually awake, you realised that you indeed have passed many, many bus stops ahead of where you should alight

Today, history repeats itself
I had been quite busy in school and afterwards
One thing leads to another, and I happened to leave CCK at around 9 pm
I should had been a 30-45 minutes ride back to hostel
I was wrong...

So, I was inside 67, on my favourite seat just behind the driver, reading a novel
It had been half the trip when the familiar soft voice asked me to take a rest for a while
I could not resist, and predictably, I ended up to be around NUS Music and Art School when I woke up
After settling down myself with a few curses, I told myself that this is not a big deal
I just need to cross the road, wait for a bus, and be back in hostel in a matter of minutes

Not long afterwards, I took 156
And the story begun

In the bus, I predicted that it would take 10 minutes to reach hostel
So I tried to kill the time by reading my novel
And read I did
Imagine how surprised I was to realise that I was in Clementi Interchange when I looked up from the book
Some familiar animal names escaped from my mouth
And I moved on to 5th berth, waited for my bus
Another 156

This time round, I decided to concentrate a bit more on the road
I was still reading, but I scanned the road sign every 5 minutes
I believed I did so
Therefore, it was a mixture of confusion and schock when I saw "Toa Payoh" instead of "Bukit Timah Road" on the road sign
I desperately jammed my finger to the bell button, alighted from the bus, and crossed to the bus stop on the opposite side of the road
The place had no light and I was alone
Luckily, I did not have to wait for a long time
My third 156 came and I boarded the bus

It turned out that missing a bus stop so familiar with you for three times at night combined with exhaustion could be quite spooky
I needed an answer (actually, I did try to relate bus no 156 and 30 March 2007 to number 23, to find out the mastermind behind this series of unfortunate events, it did not work; by the way, you know that movie "23", right?)
So instead, I had "What if..." scenarios running in my head

It began with the usual

What if I was just too tired to notice the bus stop?

and

What if I was too engrossed in my book that I failed to judge time correctly?

then

What if they changed the route of 156?

until

What if I am actually still in bus 67 and all these are just my dreams?

finally

What if my first 156 crashed, I died, became a ghost, and somehow trapped in the 156 loop forever, travelled from one bus stop to another without being able to find my destination?
(Darn! Even when I was typing this, I felt the goosebumps that occured to me just a few hours ago on the street when I first thought about this possibility)

It seems that I still belong to the earth society
I managed to spot hwa chong bus stop on my last trip
And when I jumped out the bus, my feet hit the ground instead of hovering above it
Finally I was back

Total time taken : 2 hours 30 minutes
Ha3x, maybe I could call this "a near death experience"

Meaningless fiction about it and bird (What a stupid title about a more stupid story)

Once upon a time
Lived a creature in the middle of nothing
The creature was called "it"
It had nobody
Lonely
All by itself
Yet, it was OK

One day
It saw a bird
Just a normal bird
But something started to change inside it
Something
It did not know what
It did not know why
It could not understand

Bird can fly
Bird has its own mind

It just sat there
And bird would come
Bird jumped around
Bird sang
Bird flew
But bird always returned
It was not lonely anymore
It was happy
Yet deep inside
It was afraid
Afraid about the end

Time passed
Season changed
Fall came
Winter was approaching

Bird can fly
Bird has its own mind

Bird needed food
Bird had to go
Otherwise bird would not survive
It knew the fact
It had to understand

Bird can fly
Bird has its own mind

So bird left
And never returned
It was lonely again
But this time
It was not OK

Then it realised
It also had something to do
It had to survive the winter
And maybe next time
Bird might return

Bird can fly
Bird has its own mind

Japanese Scouts

Today, 10 BP scouts went to New Park Hotel to meet some Japanese Scouts who happened to be having holiday in Singapore.

Our teacher had already told us that they are all boys.
But deep inside me, I am still expecting that there are some girl scout as well.
What can be better than being a tour guide for some cute Japanese girls?
God heard my wish and granted it
There are indeed three female scouts, but they are old enough to be your grandma...

God is always like that.

Anyway, we went with them to The Jewel Box in Mt Faber with its breathtaking view.
It was my first time there

Then we continued to China Town, shop around, had dinner, and went back to hotel.

All those cost me 6 hours of my precious time
Tiring but fun
In case you wonder how they look like, I have one picture here

Jokes Series

Dirty Little Matt is sitting in the back of math class, obviously not paying any attention, when the teacher calls his name.

"Yeah teach?" he replies.

"If there are three ducks on a fence and you shoot one of them with a shotgun, how many are left?" asks the teacher.

Matt answers "Well, teach, if I shoot one of them with a shotgun, the loud noise is gonna make them all fly off."

"No, Matt, there will be two left if you shoot one with a shotgun, but I like the way you're thinking." the teacher responds.

"Well, teach, I've got a question for you... There are 3 women that come out of an ice-cream parlor, one is biting her ice-cream cone, one is licking it, and one is sucking on it. Which one is married?"

The teacher, a little taken back by the question answers, "Well, uh, gee Matt, I guess the one that's sucking on the ice cream."

Matt replies "No teach, the one that has the wedding ring on her finger, but I like the way you're thinking!"

What time is it?

A dictionary defines time as "the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future redarded as a whole."

Auctoritates Aristotelis (A compilation of medieval propositions drawn from diverse classical and other sources) says "Tempus est mensura motus rerum mobilium", which simply means Time is the measure of movement.

And a very cool guy named Hector Berlioz once said "Time is a great teacher but unfortunately it kills all its pupils."

Anyway, the point is that time is a substantial part of our life.
Just as important is the device to show the time.

Have you ever felt unsure about the time?

Do you want to know my answer?
Imagine...
You were me, sitting on my blue chair inside my room
It's early in the morning
You have just finished your mugging period and felt so worn out
You wanted to find out what is exactly the time now
What should you consult?
As a psycz, you definitely have A LOT of choices...

First, you can raise up your wrist and check your watch

Next, you can look at the analog clock on top your table
Or look up a bit for a small clock on your bookshelf
You can also turn your head slightly to the right for the radio-clock And finally, rotate your head a bit more until you see another clock on your bed shelf
Still not sure?

GO TO BED!!!

Office 2007 Rocks!!!

Yeah

I love
Microsoft Office 2007
soooo
much

This program is superbly cool

And I have it for free :D

So, if u r interested, u can get one from me

B, B, and B

21 March was a day full of Bs

BORING

this of course, refers to the school, (teachers were definitely still in their holiday mood. the lessons they conducted were just simply plain, and soon heads began dropping on the table) except for the incident when one bloody boy smacked the freaking fire alarm system, causing chaos to the whole school, and deafening me in the process.

Darn! I can still hear that ringing sound in my head.

BROGRESING REPORT

typing error? no

that's just to explain the nature of my, hmm.... stationary report (should it still be called "progress" report if actually there is no progress in it?)

anyway, the point is that the paper is full of Bs. (and I mean full)

simple math will show that now I am really in the danger zone

I need to get out of it soon

BLUES

this one has two meanings

first one is self explanatory

obviously I was in blues after getting the brogressing report.

but the second one was for Chelsea who beat Spurs 2-1

and qualified for FA cup semifinal

at least they lift my heart up a bit

BROADBAND BREAKDOWN

again and again, M1 has proven to be a pain in the....(name it yourself)

and I was forced to believe

that there must be an evil spirit inside my router

as it always knows when I am going to connect to the internet,

by starts malfunctioning at that precise time

and finally, B for...

BOTAK

yeah

decided to change my hairstyle totally

this is a result of some factors

1. I have a very thick wavy hair which enclosed my head just like what a helmet does, which is very annoying especially when your classroom is not air-conned.

2. Economical; the slower your hair grows, the less often you'll visit barber, less money escapes from your wallet.

3. Fresh hair to start a new term by cutting the bad luck away.

4. With lesser hair to penetrate, more oxygen can go in to my brain and increases its performance

5. Maybe I just simply lost my mind because of the brogressing report

Dear God

God,
Your short break for me is coming to its end very soon
I am thankfull for what You have given me
I have had a great time
And now I regret it

God,
All my assignments are not done
Therefore, I want to ask you for extra energy
Please keep my eyes open for the next 24 hours
And please understand that I would not be able to go to Your church today

God,
I know this is ridiculous
But I might not be able to finish the job
You know that I have always been a good boy
At least most of the time
So
If You dont mind
Please send a mirracle for all my homeworks
Or maybe you could simply generate memory loss to all the teachers
They dont have to forget everything
Just the part about our assignments
Please God
I am so desperate now

Amen

SHUT THE F*** UP!

Another killing desire...

this time round is for those people whose voice is just too loud
for EVERY occasion
especially on the PHONE and when joking with their cronies
Darn! my ears are so painful because of your alien language

hint : these a**h***s speak a language they cannot whisper in

PS: NOT bahasa indonesia or chinese
